WORK on two key Stroud roads started on Monday and will have a considerable impact on commuters in the area.
According to Gloucestershire County Council highways website, a road closure is in place on the A419 Stroud Road between 9.30am and 3.30pm from Monday January 15, until Friday, February 2.
This closure is not far from Jolly Nice farmshop.
A diversion is in place via the A417 and the A46.
At London Road, near the Pavilion in Brimscombe, there is also a two-way traffic signal in place until Friday, January 19 between 8am and 5pm.
