A NEW hygiene grade has been awarded to an art space in Stroud.
Stroud Valley Artspace, at John Street in the town centre, was awarded a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating after a assessment on November 17, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
Food hygiene ratings reflect the hygiene standards which are found on the day of inspection by the local authority - they are not a guide to food quality.
Ratings are given on a score from 0-5, with five being the highest.
