A MAN from Stroud who failed to provide information to the police when required has been ordered to pay £1,000.
Tearlach Nicolas, aged 56, of Bisley Road, Stancombe, near Bisley, failed to provide information concerning the identity of a driver who was alleged to have committed an offence.
Nicolas failed to identify an Audi A4 driver who was alleged to have committed a traffic offence on Bisley Road at Nouncells Cross on May 20 this year.
The case was heard at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Tuesday, November 21.
He was fined £660 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £264 plus £90 in costs - a total of £1,014.
Six points were also added to his licence.
