THERE will be multiple road closures across Stroud tomorrow to accommodate to the half marathon.

This highly-anticipated race will start and finish on Cainscross Road, adjacent to Marling School field, on Sunday, October 29.

The following roads around the route will be closed for the safety of runners and volunteer marshals:

- A419 Cainscross Road - between its junction with Merrywalks Roundabout and its junction with Cainscross Roundabout - will be closed from 7.30am until 1pm

- Standish Lane - between its junction with Standish Church and its junction with A38 - will be closed from 9.20am until 11am

- Grove Lane, Whitminster - between its junction with A419 Chipmans Platt and its junction with A38 - will be closed from 9.30am until 11.15am

- Paganhill Lane - between its junction with Stratford Road and its junction with Cainscross - will be closed from 9.50am until 12.30pm

- Oldends Lane - between its junction with A419 Bristol Road and its junction with Midland Road - will be closed between 9.35am until 12pm

- A419 Dudbridge Road - between its junction with Cainscross Road and its junction with A46 - will be closed between 8.45am and 12.30pm

In addition, a 30mph speed limit restriction will be in place on A419 Bristol Road - between its junction with Grove Lane and its junction with B4008 - from 7.30am until 12.30pm.
