AN UNEXPLODED grenade was found near Stroud.
A road closure was in place following the discovery of the grenade in Minchinhampton this afternoon.
A police spokesperson said: "Thank you to the people of Minchinhampton for co-operating with our road closure this afternoon (now reopened) whilst we investigated a report of an unexploded grenade.
"It has been inspected by the British Army and safely removed."
