An independent fried chicken takeaway offering Korean style crispy chicken on the menu has opened at Five Valleys shopping centre in Stroud.

Opening next to Vue Cinema the team at T&K Fried Chicken were delighted with the reception and positive feedback on their fast-food menu which includes a wide range of fried chicken dishes with an Asian twist.

Catering for everyone the outlet also serves a signature dish of crispy fried tofu and a range of soft drinks and milkshakes.

Michael Shum, owner of T&K Fried Chicken, said: “This is our first venture into fast food and we felt being located at Five Valleys was the perfect opportunity to be part of the towns regeneration as well as being ideally positioned next to Vue cinema and opposite several bus stops on a busy main road.

Stroud News and Journal:

“Our success story will be based on attention to detail combined with a desire to be different.

"Our set menus are reasonably priced and have their own secret Korean and Taiwanese blend of spices making our fried chicken stand out.”

T&K Fried Chicken will be open seven days per week, opening late until 9pm Monday to Saturday.

Olly Jansen Estates Surveyor for Dransfield Properties, the developers refurbishing the centre, said: “T&K Fried Chicken joins a number of independent businesses opening at Five Valleys over the coming months.

“We pride ourselves in offering a wide variety of food outlets at the centre suiting all tastes and budgets.

The new outlet can be found on Merrywalks next door to Vue Cinema.
