THE Wotton Art Exhibition this year has produced a fantastic response from local artists. The quality and value of this years entries is excellent says organiser for Under the Edge Arts, Martin Clarke ‘Maybe it’s the enforced covid breaks but our artists seem to have been stimulated by the isolation. It’s great to be able to hold this years exhibition , the 51st, in a freer way. We have 166 paintings and sculptures plus a range of cards, from 58 artists’.
The exhibition features some works sold for charities including Ukraine and Surfers against Sewage.
Timings are 9am to 8pm on Saturday 7 and 9am to 4pm on Sunday 8. There is also a preview evening from 7.30pm on Friday 6 for those unable to come over the weekend. Admission is free with any donations going to Under the Edge Arts. ‘Do come along and see what our artists have to offer - we have something for everyone. Linger awhile in Wotton with its great shops, pubs, coffee bars and eateries and make a day of it.
