Road closed near Nailsworth after reports of caravan fire
FIRE crews in Nailsworth were called to a campervan fire near Nailsworth, the A46 was closed as a precaution.
The incident was reported at 3.39pm on the A46 just south of Dunkirk Mills.
A fire engine from Nailsworth attended the incident which involved a Toyota Townhouse, all the occupants inside the vehicle escaped unharmed and were aided with breathing apparatus.
Traffic came to a halt in the area with the road closed both ways between Inchbrook Hill and Station Road.
Crews have since reopened the road and are clearing debris
