ANTI-AUSTERITY campaigners in Stroud brought the NHS under scrutiny in a line-up of events designed to encourage people to take action to protect the service.
Issues raised included whether the NHS is affordable, if privatisation is a threat and how residents can defend local health services from cuts.
The programme, organised by Stroud Against The Cuts (SATC), featured debates, films, talks, workshops, music, comedy and activities for children.
SATC successfully fought against the privatisation of community health services in Gloucestershire in 2011/12.
