THERE will be no criminal charges after a Husky fatally attacked a Jack Russell on the outskirts of Stroud.
Police said the owner of the Husky, which was off the lead during the attack in The Heavens, Lypiatt on February 17, is expected to sign an Acceptable Behaviour Contract and pay the vet bill.
The owners of the Jack Russell were not seeking prosecution, a spokesman from the police said.
A 13-year-old girl was walking her two dogs, a Jack Russell and Labrador, when two Huskies began barking at the girl and one attacked the Jack Russell during the incident.
All of the dogs were off the lead.
Sadly, the Jack Russell died from her injuries after being taken to the vet.
