A NEW film starring Luke Mably and Andrea Deck is being shot near Painswick.
Film producer Emma James, who has worked on some of the UK's most successful television series such as Lewis, Casualty, Cider with Rosie and The Casual Vacancy, secured the location in Kimsbury Farm, Upton Hill, through the Cotswold Film and Location Office which she runs.
The Ghostwriter, a psychological thriller, will soon be released to hit festival screenings when filming finishes in around a week's time.
It tells the story of a novelist, Gilliger Graham, who is desperately seeking to write a critically-acclaimed book to follow the success of his dad.
When he goes to find some of his dad's old manuscripts, however, he finds a dark tale, and reality and fantasy become blurred.
The film draws on director Paul Wilkins's experiences in striving to gain success.
Actor Luke Mably, who has appeared in Holby City and Eastenders, will play the lead role of Gilliger Graham and Andrea Deck, who has starred in Les Miserables and Mr Selfridge, will also play a leading role.
Cast and crew have been based at The Convent hotel in Woodchester.
If you want to be a part of the film, extras are needed next Wednesday, November 4.
A range of ages from 18 upwards are needed and they are asked to come in evening dress for an awards ceremony scene.
Extras will be paid. Contact emmajames0102@gmail.com.
