Statement from Darren Lewis' family, van driver who died in Harescombe
THE man who died after being found unconscious trapped under a white van has been revealed as Darren Lewis form Quedgeley.
The van driver died in Harescombe on Tuesday, December 16.
The family of the 36-year-old has issued a statement:
“Darren was taken from us all too soon. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and he will always be loved by his family and friends.
“We would appreciate being left to grieve at this difficult time.”
Police were called just after 6pm on Tuesday to Styles Lane where Mr Lewis was trapped, unconscious beneath a white ‘14’ reg’ Nissan delivery van.
He died shortly after the emergency services arrived.
