LOTTE Lyster, the landlady of the Prince Albert, has spoken of her shock following the murder of an 82-year-old man at an address in Walkley Hill on Friday.
“I think everyone in the community is feeling shocked and concerned and are hoping it all gets resolved very soon,” said Mrs Lyster, who is the landlady of the Prince Albert which is located on the corner of Rodborough Hill and Walkley Hill.
“Police have been in the area all weekend and have been going up and down searching gardens with metal detectors and rakes.
“People are of course concerned that someone in the community has died in a suspicious incident.
“There was an incident last week where a body was found in a burn out car and people are obviously feeling worried.
“There have been a lot of strange deaths in Rodborough over the years. It seems to be a bit of a blackspot for unusual deaths.”
