HARRY Potter star Rupert Grint had to use brute strength rather than magic when he helped pull an eight tonne lorry through Stroud on Bank Holiday Monday.
Hundreds of spectators chanted his name as the 24-year-old actor and event organiser Gary Gardner led a 15-strong team which heaved the eight-tonne truck.
Rupert helped make up the last team of the day after one group failed to turn up and his mum, Joanna, shouted 'Rupert will do it'.
Rupert travelled to Stroud from Hertfordshire to watch his sister Samantha perform at the charity day with her band Ghost of Samantha.
